Explains the speed of the reaction by collision theory and the theory of the activated complex. Explaining catalytic reactions studied the effect of the catalyst on the reaction of certain systems in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis. Describes the basic characteristics of the catalyst: the selectivity, activity and stability. It is studying the development of catalysis and its participation in industrial practice.
